On Wednesday, April 29, 2015, Ensign-Bickford Aerospace & Defense Company (EBA&D) is being recognized by United Launch Alliance (ULA) as a recipient of ULA’s highly prestigious 2014 Small Business Recognition Award.
As stated in ULA’s announcement letter,
EBA&D has demonstrated outstanding support to United Launch Alliance by providing a significant number of flight critical components and services for both Atlas and Delta Launch Vehicles…and now expanding your support to our new venture into the commercial space field with CST-100*.
EBAD is pleased to accept this award from United Launch Alliance and celebrate past and future successes.
The first new spacecraft of Boeing’s commercial space transportation era is the CST-100, a vehicle which is configurable to carry up to seven crew/passengers or an equivalent combination of passengers and pressurized cargo to Low Earth Orbit (LEO) destinations.
