EBAD is seeking to fill an open position for a Development Engineering Technician. This position is located in Moorpark, CA.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily hands-on support to Engineering or other personnel.

  • Duties may include mixing, loading, extrusion, pressing, testing, assembly, preparation of associated documentation and materials movement.

  • Assist in design and layout of new or modified products and processes.

  • Integration of Lean principles and problem solving tools in areas as assigned.

  • Data entry analysis on various product or processes characteristics

  • Perform inspections and other checks to verify conformance to requirements

  • May be required to participate in significant projects, such as, construction and new facility startup; assume additional responsibilities necessary to achieve company goals; and may need to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

  • Mistake Proofing skills a must.

  • Occasional off-site travel may be required.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of 32 college credit hours in a technical program, or approximately 5 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Ability to interpret basic engineering drawings.

  • Strong knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing required.

  • Experience using Solidworks or other CAD-type software is a plus.

  • Strong PC and interpersonal communication skills desirable.
