Exploding Bridgewire Detonator

Description

An Exploding Bridgewire (EBW) Detonator is used to initiate a secondary explosive charge when a high voltage/ high current pulse is applied across a metallic bridgewire. While similar in construction to the more standard HBW detonator, EBW detonators utilize all secondary explosives to ensure safety and virtually eliminate the possibility for inadvertent initiation. These devices are noted for their high level of inherent safety as well as their rapid and repeatable function time.
